The tree of life motif is lovely, and the earthy tones match my bedroom perfectly. The fabric is thick and properly quilted. I love that it doubles as a decorative piece instead of just a hidden laundry basket.

The stack of vintage books and the floral border is exactly my kind of aesthetic. The quilting is thick and holds its shape perfectly, even when completely full of towels. It looks so much nicer than a plastic hamper in my reading nook.

Deborah M., Ohio

The vibrant tulips are so cheerful that folding laundry feels like less of a chore. The fabric is thick, properly quilted rather than thin and printed, which means it stands up straight on its own. Washes up nicely, too.

I am on my second one now—I bought the sheep design for my guest room. The whimsical starry sky and fluffy sheep make me smile every time. It's very well made, holds plenty, and the generous size is perfect for bedding.

Linda B., Florida

The sea turtle and ocean waves caught my eye immediately, and the colors are even prettier in real life. Sturdy handles, generous size, and lovely to carry. It brings a bit of the beach right into my laundry room.

Patricia W., North Carolina

The mermaid tail design is so magical and unique. I get stopped about it constantly when guests use my bathroom. The quilting gives it a lovely soft weight in the hand, but it's robust enough for heavy loads.

Barbara H., Kansas

These bright sunflowers are so warm and inviting. It's a beautiful, functional piece that holds a massive amount of clothes. The shape holds up beautifully whether it is full or nearly empty.

Every Stitch Tells a Story

For years, every piece was hand-quilted in small batches. Now it's time for me to hang up my needle and thread and be Grandma full-time. Every basket is looking for a home that will use it — and I'd love for it to be yours. You only pay shipping.

Our Story

About Jennifer

Every basket I make begins the same way — a pair of hands, a spool of thread, and the belief that the things we live with every day should be made with love, not stamped out by a machine.

After years at my sewing table, it's time to slow down.

My grandmother taught me to quilt at her kitchen table, and I've spent years passing that little craft on. Now I'm retiring — I want to spend my days with my grandchildren, not paying rent on a warehouse. Rather than keep my baskets in storage, I'd rather send them to homes that will use and love them. That's why every one is free now — you only pay shipping. Thank you for being part of the last chapter. ❤️

Hand-quilted vs. machine-made

Here is what sets a hand-quilted basket apart from a mass-produced hamper.

Jennifer's baskets

Hand-quilted, one at a time
Soft, padded cotton-blend layers
Raised stitching you can feel
Colours stay bright wash after wash
Backed by a 30-day happiness guarantee
Stands up on its own, full or empty

Machine-made hampers

Mass-produced by machine
Thin, flimsy fabric
A flat printed picture
Fades and frays within weeks
Little help if something goes wrong
Slumps over when it's empty

The comparison is with machine-made laundry hampers as a product class, not with any named seller.
